Fall of 2008 was looking to be a successful time for Kaiser Transport, Inc. As we approached the end of September, we were poised to have one of our most successful years to date. We added brand new equipment to our fleet, which included the first of six aluminum double drop trailers.
Todd Kaiser worked with Bud Reitnouer to custom build these 6 new aluminum combo double drop trailers. They are lightweight and have a floor system designed specifically for LTL freight. These are the first in the nation built with these specifications and we are excited to be a part of it. All six of these new trailers are expected to be in use by the end of March.
In the beginning of October, the economy turned and freight slowed. To get through this time, Kaiser Transport Inc. did some re-structuring and implemented new cost-saving strategies to help get through this period. We have not parked any trucks nor have we laid any employees off and we do not expect to. We are looking to make it through 2008 and make 2009 a successful year.

Kaiser Transport welcomed Jared on September 2nd. He is our new Assistant Business Administrator and will be working closely with Bob. He will one day take over the Administration Department from Bob. He comes to us with a degree in Safety from UW-Whitewater and 3 years experience in the trucking industry. Welcome Aboard Jared! |
